"Suspect in Custody, Mother Demands Justice for Son's Murder"

A mother is seeking justice for her son who was brutally chopped to death in Dukestown, Corriverton Berbice. 18-year-old Keon Byass, also known as Badboy, was attacked by two men while returning home after dropping off a pair of jeans at a tailor's.

According to reports, Badboy tried to escape the attack but was unable to do so. After the incident, the suspects fled the scene, leaving Badboy injured. He was taken to Skeldon Public Hospital, where he was examined by a doctor and later referred to New Amsterdam Public Hospital for further treatment.

Unfortunately, despite the efforts of medical professionals, Badboy succumbed to his injuries at the New Amsterdam Public Hospital a few hours later. His body is presently lying at the New Amsterdam Mortuary, awaiting a post-mortem examination.

Badboy's mother, Christian McDonald, is devastated by the loss of her son and is seeking justice for him. McDonald: "All I need is justice for my son. They did it once, we didn't get no justice; now they do it again, they kill him… I need justice for my son."

According to reports, Badboy and the suspects had an ongoing dispute, which had led to past incidents of violence between them. However, on Tuesday night, one of the two suspects turned himself in at the Springlands Police Station and is presently in custody, assisting with the investigation. Efforts are still ongoing to apprehend the second suspect. This is a tragic incident that has left a family in mourning and a community in shock.
